About
MESH Creative Confab is an annual event that brings together the very best of Ghanaian creativity under one roof for the purposes of meeting, exploring and sharing creative ideas, projects, products and services. The event is specially curated to deliver a total experience that create opportunity to learn and be inspired by the people, products, services and latest trends in the creative industry and provide a platform for market expansion, business networking and discovery. Activities include Expo, Keynote Presentations, Panel discussions, Portfolio reviews and Live Creative demos.
Who to expect
Expected participants include a cross section of the Ghanaian CCI including but not limited to architects, fashion designers, digital and graphic artists, illustrators, web designers, filmmakers and the likes. We also invite some leading creative individuals, brands and outfits to take the opportunity to discover young talent for possible commissions, partnerships or recruitment.

Sessions are designed to ensure maximum interaction between confab participants, attendees, speakers and resource persons.
Expo
The MESH Expo is a unique platform that showcases the entire spectrum of creativity
in Ghana from the individual freelance creatives to the largest multinational creative
agencies. A wide array of products and services are displayed in a typical expo style
with creative individuals, startups, organizations, advertising, PR and Brandings agencies
as well as firms in the fields of fashion, architecture, interior and product design.
Also on display are organizations that offer products and services that target the
creative community.
Curated Talks
This session is aimed at sharing insights into the business of creativity with an emphasis
on how to make ideas happen. In this session, we invite outstanding individuals who
have chalked remarkable success in their various creative disciplines to deliver 15
minute presentations that aim to educate, inform and inspire. Past speakers include
development architect Professor Henaku Addo, Branding expert Nana K. Duah, Ace
photographer Emmanuel Bobbie, Filmmaker Nicole Amarteifio and Fashion Designer
Ayesha Obuobi Ayensu amongst other outstanding creatives.
Panel discussion
These are discussion that touch on various topics that directly affect the business of
creativity. It features a moderator and a panel of resource persons and experts in creative
and other traditional fields in very indepth conversations that largely involve and
engage the audience.
Portfolio Presentation
In this session, participants are given the opportunity to present their creative works to receive insightful feedback from peers, experts and audience. Presenters are given a 5 minute time slot within which to present their works and another 5 minutes to receive feedback all in a very relaxed and semi-formal atmosphere. This gives them the opportunity to showcase their work, a chance at commissions, recruitment and/or collaboration.
Live Creative Demo
With a concious desire to depart from the typical talk-shop and showcasing of final
products, this session is designed to offer participants a first-hand peek into the creative
processes behind the production of products and services. It features different
activities happening simultaneously with networking. Typical activities include
Photography shoot and photo retouching, painting (Digital and analog), Graffiti art, 3d modeling, DJ mixing, Musical/ Poetry performances etc.
Masterclasses/ Workshops
A series of masterclass workshops facilitated by industry experts designed to provide beginner level knowledge in various creative, digital and enterprise skills. These are targeted at individuals who are looking to explore new creative careers but do not know where to start as well as those individuals who are want to gain a cursory insights into creative skill that are outside their primary fields.
